There are many uses for this herb, including relieving pain, arthritis, ED (prostatitis), fever, dysentery, boils, and ulcers.
The most common issues are fungal infections (oral or vaginal), herpes simplex virus, influenza, parasitic conditions, and schistosomiasis.
Native to the Amazon rainforest. The bark contains naphthoquinones, a class of vitamin K compounds also found in green, leafy vegetables. Quercetin is among the antioxidants found in the bark.
Steep for tea and combine it with other herbs. You can grind it into powder for capsules.
